1961 Fender Jazzmaster Pre-CBS Vintage Offset Guitar Sunburst w/ Blonde Case
The original black bobbin pickup pair retains its stock windings, and both pickups have ample output. The bridge pickup has a great upper midrange aggression, sparkle, and cut. Engaging the pickups in parallel in the middle position has a bell-like, chorusing quality with excellent articulation, and the neck pickup has a bold woody bark, notably gutsy with a pronounced vowel-like quality. The Rhythm Circuit is dark and smooth, all while retaining terrific detail. This Jazzmaster weighs 7lbs 15oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar, where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, with 11-49 strings, low action and accurate intonation.
