1992 Greco EGB-100 Custom Black Beauty Vintage Short Scale Bass, Japan Fujigen
Up for sale, a 1992 Greco EGB-100 in excellent, 100% original condition and in perfect working order. Invoking the aesthetic of a “Black Beauty” with a gloss Ebony finish framed by multi-ply binding and accented by gold hardware, the short scale Greco bass was crafted at the Fujigen factory in Japan.
Featuring the late '70s LP tonewood complement of a mahogany body, maple cap, three-piece maple neck, and rosewood fretboard, this bass weighs 10lbs 12oz. Each position on the three-way pickup selector toggle is distinct and rich, with a very broad, thumpy-yet-authoritative sound with the neck pickup engaged. This EGB-100 has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with fresh 45-100 roundwound strings, comfortable action, and accurate intonation.
