This discontinued “Crafted in Japan” iteration of the Yngwie Strat was the highest tiered iteration available at the time of production, produced exclusively for the Japanese domestic market and featuring a scalloped maple fretboard, brass nut, super jumbo fretwire, and a pair of DiMarzio HS-4 YJM stacked single coil pickups.
Pickups include USA-made DiMarzio YJM/HS-4 single coils in the bridge and neck positions, with a Fender Japan ST-Vintage alnico magnet single coil in the middle position.
