2004 Mosrite Super Custom '63 Sidejack Ventures Model Sunburst, Set Neck w/ Vibramute & Hangtag, Kurokumo Japan
Tonewoods include a basswood body with prominent German Carve, a maple neck, and bound slab rosewood fingerboard, yielding a smooth, balanced acoustic tone. These tonewoods provide an ideal platform for the single coil pickup pair which offers plenty of power, percussive cut, and sparkling treble. These pickups are somewhat more conservatively wound than vintage USA-made models, still delivering the authoritative treble zing and cut that is quintessential Mosrite. Weighing 7lbs 15oz, this Mosrite Sidejack has been professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.
