2008 Fender Telecaster Thinline ‘72 Vintage Reissue TN72 Natural w/ Wide Range, Japan CIJ
Boasting a Wide Range humbucker design more tonally faithful to the originals than many other Fender reissues of the era, this guitar is fat and full-sounding while still retaining a distinctive, sweet top end character and percussive cut. The ash body provides a certain midrange punch, and the semi-hollow construction adds an inherent warmth and openness to the sound. This Tele weighs 6lbs 13oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and spot-on intonation.
Neck Specs:
-Wood: Maple (one-piece)
-Shape: Substantial C, full shoulders, measuring .875” 1st fret, .960” 12th fret
-Fretboard: 7 ¼” vintage-spec radius
-Frets: Slender, light wear beneath the plain strings on 1-12 (progressively lighter)
-Scale Length: 25 ½”

-Controls: Volume, Tone, Three-way pickup selector switch
-Hardware: Six-saddle bridge (block saddles), flat-top knurled knobs (chrome-plated)
-Plastics: Three-ply pearloid pickguard, top hat switch tip
The gloss Natural finish highlights dynamic bearclaw figuring in the ash body on top, and there is a UV tanline from a band sticker (The Metros) at the bass-side upper bout on top. Cosmetic wear is limited to light buckle rash central to the back, a few small nicks and chips along the lower bout perimeter, and a handful of pinhead-sized dings on top. The neck profile retains its smooth gloss, with a couple shallow marks along the profile length that have no impact on playability.
A modern Fender padded gigbag is included.
