Master luthier Dana Bourgeois has earned a reputation as one of the most celebrated builders in the acoustic guitar pantheon; the Hogtop is his all-mahogany design, featured here in the 00 body shape, produced as part of the Professional Series.
Built for warmth, clarity, and balance, every Bourgeois guitar in the Professional Series is crafted with select tonewoods, precision-voiced bracing, and Bourgeois' proprietary bolt-on neck for tonal consistency and long-term serviceability. The all-mahogany body construction produces rich, woody and velvety tonalities, with clear and balanced high and low frequencies and a foundational presence central to Bourgeois' sonic signature.
